Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. The endorsement earned her some attention. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding a piano in her attic and becoming enthralled by the music it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music for a love rather than as a job. For this reason she started writing her own songs that were her own creations. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favorite songwriters. After her mom informed her that her music can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, but also make others see their significance in the world and realize the possibilities for them, she decided to begin performing publicly. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and began writing music at age nine. Family members didn't even be aware of this until she turned fourteen. Aurora's fame was not her goal. The singer says that she simply likes creating songs. She believes that music is the only method to experience anything.
